Professional advice & evaluation for your songs.

From my own practical experience as a songwriter as well as my work  at Bath Spa University critiquing, evaluating and offering feedback on songs for the MA Songwriting students and from the various songwriting workshops I do I know that, often what many aspiring (and experienced) songwriters - who often work in isolation - need and appreciate most is a pair of independent, experienced ears to listen to and comment on their songs. My comments won’t be primarily based on an academic, clinical analysis of the songs but much more on my practical experience as a professional writer who’s been earning a living from his songs for more than 35 years. The following headings are really just a rough guideline of the feedback I will give.

Initial response / Form & Structure / Melody / Harmony / Dynamics / Lyrics / Singability
