You will have learned after doing this workshop:
Students will acquire some improvisation techniques. They will have greater confidence to express themselves physically through movement, and in front of others. They will develop a greater sensitivity and ability to work creatively with others as well as a greater awareness of themselves and others moving in space.
What materials/equipment you need to bring to be able to do this workshop:
Please wear loose comfortable clothing (e.g. tracksuit).
Content of this workshop is:
Students will be introduced to various ways and methods of improvising. They will learn devices to help improve their improvisation skill and ideas. They will look at using different stimuli to inspire them and to generate movements. There will be the opportunity to work individually, assessing what is successful or not in their improvisation, as well as working in groups to create a short piece from what they have learned.
