The content of this workshop is:
For all who want to improve their solo (or duo) musical act. It may be a chance for some to explore areas highlighted in their talent evaluations. Main themes: Music performance: making the most out of voice and instrument. Musical arrangement: counteracting the absence of other performers. The programme: Preparation, choice of songs, aims, presentation. Stage performance: Presence, attitude communication. Style: Open forum, with performance, theory, analysis, discussion. Participants must come equipped, having prepared a sequence of songs and be ready to discuss their act and try out new ideas.
