You will have learned after doing this workshop: You will be able to make the best use of your video camera through learning about: framing and composition, narrative, storyboards and shooting techniques. Lighting and basic sound. What materials/equipment you need to bring to be able to do this workshop: Please bring your video camera and any tape recording stock, tripod or other equipment to wish to explore. Other important things a participant should know to be able to do this workshop: We will be going outside during one of the workshops, so bring a coat and boots. The content of this workshop is: We will exploring the practical elements of using video cameras, from composition to good story telling techniques. A couple of video cameras will be available to those not owning one. We will be shooting footage and discussing the results. Lighting and sound recording theory will also be covered.
