You will have learned after doing this workshop:
The student will develop constructive criticism of not only their voice and technique, but will learn to listen diagnostically to other singers. The student will acquire new tools for the further development of vocal technique specifically to remedy existing problems.

What materials/equipment you need to bring to do this workshop:
The student should come prepared to sing a solo piece, in any style, and provide either written music, lyrics with chords, or a CD for accompaniment.

Other important things a participant should know to be able to do this workshop:
The student should have had practical singing experience either in an ensemble or as a soloist.

The content of this workshop is:
This workshop will concentrate on helping singers to identify problem areas in their existing vocal technique while attaining new tools for effective vocal production in any style. Each student will have the opportunity to share their particular difficulties and demonstrate them in the performance of a song. Both the teacher and fellow students will participate with constructive criticism and in the prescribing of practical remedies.
