You will have learned after doing this workshop:
After doing this workshop the student will have some technical grounding and technical skills of choreography, they will learn to draw on their own personal experiences to incorporate this into their choreography. They will have learnt how to evaluate their own choreography and appreciate and evaluate that of others.

What materials/equipment you need to bring to do this workshop :
Students may bring their own pieces of choreography to share (also please bring a video of some dance which interests them if possible but not essential).

Other important things a participant should know to be able to do this workshop:
Students should have some background in performing arts.

The content of this workshop is:
Over the 4 days dancers will develop a short piece of dance. This is an organic approach to choreography which teaches students to draw on their own personal life experiences for their work. The workshop will include evaluation of different styles of dance and choreography through video.
