The content of this workshop is: This workshop/talk/discussion about remaining healthy, growing, and staying sane while we struggle to make a difference in this world through our lives, our art, and/or our ministry. This is designed to help people avoid the meltdown or help them find their way back to a healthy, more centered life. Garold has worked as an actor/director in the theatre world and with churches for over 25 years. In 1984, while working as ‘minister of arts’ for a large church as in the US, he had an emotional/spiritual meltdown. On his journey back to health, he discovered keys to walking in integrity, remaining on the path of life. When the performance, the teachings, or the songs don't match the reality of one's life it creates a confused message and a split life. We’ve all seen this happen, but few people are willing to talk about it. We will. We will look at all forms of stage ministry as performance and we will look at Christianity as reality & integrity, but not as confining religion.
