Upon closer examination, this art appears not to be a vague concept. It has a clear direction and message, which is determined by a handful of trendsetters, the avant-garde. A handful of artists and producers working in separate disciplines of art (e.g. sculpture, music, painting, poetry, prose, drama, media) and leading teachers in culture, sociology, education and art. N.B. We do not condemn many ‘secular’ artists who do their work conscientiously. We are talking about a pattern and a direction.
