John Peck

John Peck has been Speaker and advisory board member of Christian
Artists Europe Seminar since 1993.

He has studied in London Bible College. Hons BD (London) A.L.B.C. 1948-51.

His long career consist for example:
- A member of Tyndale Fellowship for Biblical Research.
- Village evangelist with Friends Evangelistic Band.
- Screenprinter, Birmingham. 
- Part-time lecturer, Birmingham Bible Institute.
- Pastor, Thaxted B.C.Essex. 
- Senior Lecturer, Glasgow Bible College. Teaching Theology, Biblical exegesis, Christian ethics, Non-christian religions, World Literature, Christian Communication including Public Speaking and Reading,
- Minister, Earl Soham Baptist Church.
- College House Senior Project worker,
- Lecturing for Cambridge University Extension Dept (CDRS) OT, Church History.
Staley Lecturer, Tyndale College, Detroit. (Have since taught/lectured from time time to time in Toronto, St. Louis, Sacramento,     Sevierville, and at Regents College and Cornerstone Festival.)
- Tutor and Course Consultant for the UK Baptist Union Christian Training Programme.
- Participator in Anglia & Oxford Health Authority Workshop on the future of the NHS.
- Tutor in Biblical Hebrew at SIFRE, Suffolk College, Ipswich.

Peck has travelled widely in southern Europe, Yugoslavia, the bible lands, Turkey, Iraq., Iran, India, Kashmir, Nepal.

Hobbies and Interests: exploring little known subjects like Irish and Nestorian missions,  writing and public reading of poetry and stories; being grandparent to 12; gadgets, chess, table-tennis, amateur dramatics; have performed in both UK and U.S.A.

"My special concern is exposition of the Gospel as the
organising and explanatory principle of secular life and its
academic disciplines; e.g., biblical christian ways of thinking
about politics, economics, education, art, geography, traffic
control, you name it!"
