Richard Hughes

Richard Hughes has worked in the broadcast industry for 9 years, has an MA in Digital Interactive Media and specialises in cross platform broadcasting.

In the past two years he has worked on two feature films,
edited documentary work for BBC, UK History, Discovery Channel, and for artists for exhibitions at ICA and Tate Modern.

Richard has directed music videos, broadcast on MTV/MTV Base.
He maintains his professional practice and is Creative Director of a
production company, Silk Purse Creations Ltd, along side part time work as
Assosiate Subject Leader in Broadcast Post Production at Ravensbourne
College, a leading centre for broadcast in the UK, directing documentary
work around the world including Australia, America, India, Ascension
Island and Europe.

Richard is also an authorised Apple Accredited
Professional and trainer and has delivered FCP training to many production
companies in London including BECTU.
