Lurdes Chappel

Lurdes and Dale Chappel work together and individually in the artistic marketplace and Christian community at large.  By trade, Dale is a musical arranger/producer/composer and voice teacher/coach, having travelled/recorded for 6 years as a vocalist with the band Light Stream, from California. He came to live in Portugal in 1983, working as Creative Ministries Director for Youth for Christ-Portugal, for 11 years.  Since 1994, Dale works now free-lance within the Portuguese musical marketplace and recording industry. 

Lurdes, a native of Portugal, is a writer and performing poet of her own poetry, and a teacher of the Portuguese language. She performed/recorded for 6 years together with Dale in Europe and the US in the inter-disciplinary group "Faces" . They continue to perform together their own, original material, for both Christian and non-Christian audiences, and teach regularly on various artistic subjects.

Dale and Lurdes oversee as well the Christian fellowship "Koinonia – Comunidade Cristã", which they began in 1994, and the artistic think-tank/agency "Prisma - Arte & Comunicação". (see membership organizations).
