Springs Dance company

Springs Dance Company is a unique organisation consisting of trained dancers, teachers and choreographers all of whom are committed Christians.
SDC tours the UK and internationally, performing and teaching work that is dynamic, entertaining, and challenging. The company is renowned for making accessible, high quality dance performances and for teaching with excellence. SDC pride themselves on making work that can be enjoyed by everyone, including those new to dance.

SDC performs and runs workshops for a wide variety of audiences and at a wide variety of venues including theatres, schools, colleges, prisons, churches, cathedrals, festivals, conferences and outreach missions. SDC also runs an apprenticeship scheme. For theatres, SDC offers an exciting programme of thought-provoking contemporary dance and drama, delighting audiences with their energy, technical skills, and superb choreography.

Ruth Hughes was appointed Artistic Director of Springs Dance Company in May 2003.
