Thea Soltau

Thea trained at Mountview theatre school in London and following this worked with All the King’s Men Christian theatre company. She is a director of the Christian Dance Fellowship of Britain, promoting Christian dance, supporting Christian dancers, organising and leading conferences and workshops. From August 2006 Thea joined the steering committee of the International Christian Dance Fellowship.

Through her ministry she has worked all over the UK, US, Bosnia, Croatia and South Africa, performing and leading dance workshops. She recently returned to study and graduated with a first class Ba Hons in Drama and Applied Social Science.

Thea works as a freelance arts practitioner in the UK specialising in physical theatre and dance. Recent performances include ‘Oh Wot a Lovely War’ and Gwenda in ‘Bazaar and Rummage’. Ongoing work includes partnerships with Lynx Theatre in Education, Cre8.ed and Pneumata Productions.

Thea lives in the north of England and is married to Geoff, a lighting technician, they have two children.
